Who we are

Byte Via Business Solutions operates this website and its mobile app. We are based in Jerusalem, Palestine.

What you tell us

We only receive personal information when you choose to send it through one of our forms, on the website or in the app.

Contact form

Your name and email address; optionally your phone number and organization; the topic, the platform concerned, a subject and your message.

Demo and quote requests

Your name, email address, organization and sector, the platforms you are interested in and your preferred meeting format; optionally your phone number, job title, organization size, country, city, a preferred date and time of day, and a message. Each request receives a reference number, and you confirm that you have read this notice before sending it.

Recorded with each submission

The language you used, whether the form was sent from the website or the app, and the date and time.
Your IP address and the technical identification of your browser or app (user agent), which help us detect spam and abuse.
Where available, the campaign tags of the link that brought you to the site (such as utm_source), the website that referred you, and the anonymous daily identifier described under “Visitor statistics”, so we can see which pages lead to enquiries.

Job applications

When you apply through our careers page or the app, we receive what you enter in the application form and the CV you attach. We use it only to assess your application.

What an application contains

Your name, email address and phone number, and optionally the city and country where you live.
The track and role you apply for, your years of experience, your seniority or education level, your skills, technologies and languages, and optional links to your LinkedIn, code or portfolio profiles.
Your work preferences and availability and, if you choose to give it, your expected salary.
Your CV (PDF, DOC or DOCX) and, optionally, a cover letter.

We do not ask for your age or date of birth, gender, marital status, religion, nationality, a photo or identity numbers, and you do not need to include them in your CV.

Applications are used only for recruitment: to assess your profile for current and future roles, to contact you about it and to keep a record of the hiring steps. They are never used for marketing.

Your CV is stored privately on our server: it has no public address and is not attached to our notification emails. Only the people handling recruitment can open it, through the password-protected administration area.

Applications and CVs are deleted after 12 months, or earlier if you ask.

To see, correct or delete your application, write to us at mabuali@byte-via.com and include your reference number.

How we use it

To answer your enquiry, arrange and prepare the demo or meeting you asked for, and, where relevant, send you a quote.
To notify our team of each new request by email and, for demo requests, to send you a confirmation with your reference number.
To keep a record of our conversation with you, including internal notes and the status of your request.
To protect our forms against spam and abuse, for example by limiting how often they can be sent.

We do not use your information for advertising, and we do not sell or rent it to anyone.

Visitor statistics

To understand how the site is used, our own server keeps simple statistics. They are first-party — no analytics company receives them — and they work without cookies.

What a page view records

The page address and its language, the time, and whether the page was found.
The address of the page that linked to us when you arrive from another website, and any campaign tags in the link.
The type of device (desktop, tablet or mobile), the browser and the operating system, derived from your browser’s identification.
Your approximate country, when our hosting network provides it, and whether the site was opened as an installed app.
A few interactions, such as selecting main buttons, switching the language or theme, installing the app, or starting or sending a form.

An anonymous identifier that changes every day

To count unique visitors without cookies, the server combines your IP address and browser identification with a secret value that changes every day, and keeps only a one-way hash of the result. Your IP address is not stored in these statistics, the hash cannot be turned back into it, and the same visitor cannot be recognised from one day to the next. Page views that are close together in time are grouped into one visit.

If your browser sends a “Do Not Track” or “Global Privacy Control” signal, our pages do not send interaction events.

Statistics are deleted automatically after 395 days.

Cookies and storage on your device

We only use what the site needs to work and to remember your choices. There are no advertising or third-party cookies.

You can delete all of these at any time in your browser settings; the site will simply forget your choices.

Members of our team who handle enquiries, through a password-protected administration area.
The provider that hosts this website and its database, and the email service that delivers our messages — only as far as needed to provide those services.

We do not share your information with advertisers or data brokers, and the site does not load advertising, social media or third-party analytics scripts.

How long we keep it

Messages and demo requests: as long as we need them to handle your enquiry and any business relationship that follows. You can ask us to delete them sooner.
Visitor statistics: 395 days, after which they are deleted automatically.
Job applications and CVs: 12 months, after which they are deleted. You can ask us to delete yours sooner.
Cookies and storage on your device: as listed above.

Your choices

You can ask us for a copy of the information you sent us, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. If you have a reference number, please include it so we can find your request quickly.

You can also clear cookies and site data in your browser at any time, and turn on your browser’s “Do Not Track” or “Global Privacy Control” setting.
