A series of working meetings has been held with the Palestinian Insurance Federation regarding Car Stock. The meetings included the Federation’s Secretary, Mr. Kayed Ma’ayari, together with members of the relevant technical committee, and covered both the technical and the commercial dimensions of the platform.
The discussions addressed the platform’s operating model: how insurance companies, garages, salvage yards and spare parts suppliers would be connected inside one network; how repair requests and requests for quotation would be managed; and what measurable value the platform can add to an insurer’s claim-handling process.
An advanced preliminary understanding on the cooperation mechanism has been reached, and work continues towards a final formulation acceptable to all parties. Until a formal instrument is executed, this engagement is presented as a preliminary cooperation framework — not as a signed partnership or a contract.
Why sector-level engagement matters more than a single client
The strategic value of this engagement is not one insurance company. It is the possibility of reaching an entire ecosystem — several insurers together with their garages, salvage yards, suppliers and service providers — through one sector-level framework. That is the difference between selling software to a company and becoming a national automotive insurance and repair digital network: a digital layer that connects insurers to the repair and parts supply base.
